Organised by the World Rescue Organisation (WRO) in collaboration with Hrvatska Vatrogasna Zajednica, this year’s World Rescue Challenge will be hosted by Croatia in Karlovac, 9th September – 14th September 2025.
This years challenge sees the beautiful city of Karlovac host the World Rescue Challenge and has located the event near the Aquatika, on the banks of the river Korana

Teams from all around the world will compete in various rescue scenarios in both Trauma and Extrication. Assessors from member organisations, along with WRO logistics will assist the hosts run this prestigious event.
Transport and accommodation details are provided in the relevant sections, attendees are advised to book accommodation and plan travel arrangements as soon as they confirm the will be travelling to the event. The nearest airport is Zagreb international Airport which is about 60km [45 minutes approx.] from Karlovac.
