Technical Rescue Advisory Board

The Technical Rescue Advisory Board (TRAB) is composed of experts in various technical rescue disciplines, including road traffic collision management and other specialised rescue operations. This board’s primary objective is to provide cutting-edge guidance on rescue techniques, equipment, and operational protocols to ensure the highest levels of safety and effectiveness in rescue scenarios.

What the TRAB Do:

• Provide Expertise: Offering insights into the latest rescue technologies and methodologies.
• Govern Standards: Provide governance on rescue standards and maintain best practices and safety standards for technical rescue operations.
• Support Training: Assisting in the development of comprehensive training programs and materials for rescue teams.

Medical Advisory Board
The Medical Advisory Board (MAB) focuses on the medical aspects of rescue operations, particularly in pre-hospital care and trauma management. This board ensures that the WRO’s medical guidelines and training programs are aligned with the latest medical research and international standards, enhancing the quality of care provided to those affected by emergencies.

What the MAB Do:

• Expert Medical Guidance: Providing authoritative advice on clinical practices and trauma care during rescue operations.
• Develop Medical Protocols: Establishing guidelines and protocols for medical response in various rescue scenarios.
