A Equipe de Desencarceramento PUNISHERS foi criada em 2018, continuando uma longa tradição de equipes de desencarceramento de bombeiros do Condado de Palm Beach que remonta a 1984. Construído com base no profissionalismo, trabalho em equipe, e dedicação ao corpo de bombeiros, temos orgulho de representar o resgate de bombeiros do condado de Palm Beach ,os Estados Unidos, e NAVRA, enquanto compete no cenário mundial.

A Equipe de Desencarceramento Blackheart, estabelecido em 2011, tem buscado incessantemente a excelência. Representando a cidade de Burlington, Ontário, Canadá, a equipa deste ano é maioritariamente composta por membros que participam no seu primeiro WRC – uma equipa júnior ansiosa por testar as suas capacidades no cenário mundial. Embora possam ser novos no ambiente de concorrência internacional, eles trazem consigo a dedicação e a motivação que definem o Corpo de Bombeiros de Burlington. O GRATO (Grupo de resgate de acidentes de trânsito) é formado por membros de diferentes quartéis de bombeiros dos Bombers de la Generalitat de Catalunya, todos profissionais envolvidos na formação e especialização em resgate de acidentes de trânsito na Escola Catalã de Bombeiros.
Com mais de quinze anos de experiência participando de competições de desencarceramento de veículos, os membros do GRAT aliam o conhecimento adquirido em situações reais de emergência com uma aposta constante na formação, aprimoramento técnico e aprendizado contínuo. Seu objetivo não é apenas competir, mas também continuar a evoluir como socorristas, a fim de dar uma resposta cada vez mais eficaz e segura à comunidade.
Pelo segundo ano consecutivo, a equipe assume o desafio de representar os Bombers de la Generalitat no World Rescue Challenge, após a sua participação na Croácia, e com os olhos postos no WRC2026 no Brasil.
GRAT chega a este evento internacional como atual Campeão Espanhol de Resgate de Acidentes de Trânsito, título que também conquistaram na edição anterior, demonstrando seu comprometimento, preparação e trabalho em equipe.
Além dos resultados, O GRAT é construído sobre um forte vínculo pessoal entre seus membros. Eles são um grupo de profissionais que compartilham amizade, uma paixão pelo resgate, e a motivação para treinar juntos e melhorar a cada dia. Cada sessão de treinamento, cada cenário e cada competição representam uma oportunidade de aprender, compartilhar conhecimento e transferir essa experiência para seu trabalho diário durante operações de emergência reais.

GROS é a equipe de desencarceramento de veículos do Parc de Bombers GROS Cerdanyola, parte dos Bombardeiros do Governo da Catalunha. Estamos extremamente orgulhosos de representar o nosso serviço de bombeiros e o nosso país ao competirmos pela primeira vez no World Rescue Challenge em desencarceramento de veículos..
Embora esta seja a nossa estreia no Desafio de Desencarceramento, nossa equipe já competiu no World Rescue Challenge in Trauma, trazendo valiosa experiência internacional. Gros Rescat é formado por bombeiros altamente experientes que compartilham a paixão pelo resgate técnico, aprendizagem contínua, e trabalho em equipe.
Estamos entusiasmados em nos desafiar ao lado de algumas das melhores equipes de resgate do mundo, trocar conhecimentos e técnicas, e acima de tudo, para desfrutar desta experiência inesquecível. A Equipe de Resgate Test Dummy foi fundada em 2023, tornando-se o primeiro time desse tipo no Chile.
Depois de competir no primeiro desafio de desencarceramento nacional e dois latino-americanos, e sob os auspícios da Associação Latino-Americana de Resgate de Veículos (Alarev), a equipe participou pela primeira vez do 2025 WRC na Croácia e agora no Brasil em 2026. Nossa equipe é composta por bombeiros voluntários e instrutores de resgate de diferentes cidades do Chile, o que significa que devemos coordenar nossos horários para treinar pessoalmente.

Unidade de Resgate de Veículos do Corpo de Bombeiros Voluntários de Ciudad del Este (CBVCDE) foi estabelecido em 2015 com o objetivo de fortalecer nossa resposta aos acidentes de trânsito e prestar uma assistência mais segura e eficiente à nossa comunidade.
Ao longo dos anos, a equipe desenvolveu sua experiência por meio de treinamento, experiência operacional, e participação em competições nacionais de resgate, incluindo sua primeira experiência internacional no World Rescue Challenge 2025 na Croácia.

Oxfordshire Extrication Team
The OFRS Extrication Team, estabelecido em 2012, work in the small rural County of Oxfordshire, Reino Unido.
The team ethos is not only to compete, but to improve RTC working within our Brigade, and we have a strong history of sharing the knowledge, techniques and equipment gained from our attendance with our colleagues.
This will be our 5th time at a WRC, having previously attended Portugal, Romênia, Luxemburgo e cuidados com lean. We also compete at UKRO Regional events and the UK National Challenge.

TRT Karlovac, Croácia
Technical Rescue Team Karlovac was formed in 2019 as part of the Fire and Rescue Service of the City of Karlovac. Through years of competing across Europe, the team has achieved impressive results. One of our proudest accomplishments was winning 1st place at both the UAE Rescue Challenge 2025 and the Czech Rescue Challenge 2025.
Adicionalmente, the team has been directly responsible for developing and running the Croatia Rescue Challenge since 2023, as well as organizing and hosting WRC 2025 Croácia, which took place in our city of Karlovac.
RSB Advance Rescue Extrication Team
The RSB Advance Rescue extrication team of the Lisbon Fire Brigade Regiment was created in early 2024 with the aim of continuing the work done by the main RSB team in the competitive aspect, but also in the training aspect, continuing the existing legacy. Over these two years, the team has participated in three national championships and one world championship, having reached the podium twice in the national championship with an honorable 3rd place in its first participation in 2024 and in 2026 it achieved 2nd place in this prestigious competition.
It also has a 9th place in its first international participation in the World Rescue Challenge 2024.
Learning and sharing knowledge is undoubtedly the main commitment of this team for better assistance to victims of traffic accidents.

NCXT Misfits team representing North Collier Fire Rescue District in Southwest Florida. Established three years ago, the team was formed with a shared commitment to advancing rescue skills through continuous training, colaboração, and competition. Our members bring a diverse range of experience, from four to more than twenty years in the fire service, creating a team that combines fresh perspectives with seasoned expertise.
The NCXT Misfits are dedicated to improving the safety and effectiveness of vehicle rescue operations by challenging ourselves against some of the best extrication teams in the world. Every competition provides an opportunity to evaluate new techniques, refine our skills, and bring valuable knowledge back to our department. That experience is shared through department training and regional partnerships, helping strengthen rescue capabilities throughout our community.

TRT Kordall – Luxemburgo
TRT Kordall is an association founded in 2013 by volunteer firefighters. After participating in the CISMA Rescue Challenge (Luxemburgo) , the team was established with the goal of representing Luxembourg at both national and international rescue and trauma competitions, a mission we continue to fulfill today.
Ao longo dos anos, TRT Kordall has proudly taken part in numerous prestigious events, including the URKO Challenge in England, the VFDU Rescue Challenges in Germany, competitions in Austria, e, most notably, several World Rescue Challenges.
Hoje, TRT Kordall consists of one Rescue Team, two Trauma Teams, e 16 members.
Our mission is to continuously train, develop, and improve our skills in managing road traffic collisions and trauma emergencies under realistic conditions. Through teamwork, profissionalismo, and a commitment to learning, we intend to provide the highest standards of rescue and patient care.
SDIS 44 – França
O SDIS 44 extrication team was created in 2015. It is attached to the Loire-Atlantique Departmental Fire and Rescue Service. This department is located in western France, about a 4-hour drive from Paris.
This is their 8th participation in the World Rescue Challenge. It’s always a pleasure to meet up with other international teams to share and exchange our experiences. It’s also an honor to represent France in this competition.

The story of Rescue Team São Paulo 01 (RTSP 01) began in 2015 at the São Paulo Firefighters Academy (Escola Superior de Bombeiros — ESB), with the creation of the ESB Team. What started as a desire to improve techniques and share knowledge continued to grow, bringing together professionals from different units of the São Paulo State Fire Department. From this journey, RTSP 01 was born: a team united by a common purpose — to improve, Compartilhe o conhecimento, e salvar vidas! Throughout this journey, we have built much more than a competition team. We have built a family founded on humility, disciplina, trust, respect, e trabalho em equipe. Cada sessão de treinamento, every challenge, and every experience has contributed to our technical and personal growth, strengthening our mission to improve incident command, atendimento pré-hospitalar, and vehicle extrication techniques. South Yorkshire Fire & Resgatar
South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue is a metropolitan fire and rescue service in the United Kingdom, servindo 1.3 million people across Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield. Operating from 21 fire stations, our firefighters respond to a wide range of emergencies, including road traffic collisions and technical rescues, across busy urban centres, major transport networks and rural communities.
Our rescue team is proud to represent South Yorkshire at the World Rescue Challenge in Rio de Janeiro, competing alongside some of the best rescue teams from around the world. The team is passionate about technical rescue, teamwork and delivering the highest standards of casualty care.

We are an extrication team of six professional firefighters and one volunteer nurse.
Even though the team has undergone some changes, we have been competing in French national championships since 2016, winning four French titles.
We have also been participating in the WRC since 2008, with the exception of 2017 e 2018. We value the opportunity to meet specialists from around the world, share good times, and exchange ideas regarding our practices, técnicas, and tips.

Lisbon Extrication Team
Fundado em 2011, the Lisbon Extrication Team is a dedicated group of firefighters committed to improving vehicle rescue and extrication techniques through continuous training, trabalho em equipe, and participation in rescue challenges.
Ao longo dos anos, the team has had the privilege of representing Portugal in national and international competitions, gaining valuable experience while sharing knowledge with rescue professionals from around the world. These experiences have helped the team grow both technically and professionally.
The team’s achievements include 13 Portuguese National Rescue Challenge titles, two World Rescue Challenge championships (Lisboa 2015 and Lanzarote 2023), three World Championship runner-up finishes, as well as several other podium and top-four finishes in international competitions. These results reflect the dedication, trabalho duro, and commitment of every team member, as well as the support of the Lisbon Fire Regiment.
Above all, the Lisbon Extrication Team believes that every competition is an opportunity to learn, trocar experiências, and ultimately improve the quality of rescue provided to the public. Their main goal remains the same: to be better prepared to save lives whenever they are called to serve.

,,A Covasna Trauma Team compete em sua escalação atual desde 2024 e consiste em três paramédicos: Jorge, Timi, e Mirel. Ao longo dos últimos três anos, a equipe evoluiu continuamente através de um esforço sustentado, disciplina, e formação contínua na área de primeiros socorros qualificados.
Juntamente com os coordenadores e instrutores da equipe, os três paramédicos construíram uma jornada baseada na confiança, colaboração, e profissionalismo. Cada etapa do treinamento contribuiu para o desenvolvimento de uma equipe unida e capaz de enfrentar os mais complexos desafios.

Representing Team Scotland, we are Ron and Luc—an Ayrshire-based team brought together by a shared dedication to emergency response. Between us, Luc works as a local Paramedic, Ron serves as a Watch Commander in Kilmarnock, and we both respond as On-Call Firefighters out of Ayr Fire Station. Formed in 2023, we are excited to step onto the international stage for the World Rescue Challenge. We look forward to testing our skills, learning alongside world-class rescue teams, and sharing this incredible experience with the global firefighter community.
Dublin Civil Defence – Irlanda
We are Emily and Jen, two members of Dublin Civil Defence, proudly representing Ireland on the world stage at the World Rescue Trauma Challenge.
We are volunteers. This isn’t our day job, it’s something we choose to do.
We give our own time to train, respond, learn and develop our skills so that when someone needs us, we’re ready.
Our journey started in two different rescue classes. We came from different operational backgrounds, with different experiences and skill sets, but through training, competition and countless hours working together, something much stronger developed… a genuine friendship and an unbreakable team bond.
Jen is a Search & Rescue member, qualified medic and Canine Search & Rescue Handler. Her experience has developed her ability to work in challenging environments, think under pressure and adapt when situations don’t go to plan.
Emily comes from Fire, Procurar & Rescue and is also a qualified medic, she brings valuable fire, rescue and medical experience to the team. Emily also has had to adapt to challenging environments and think fast under pressure.
We may come from different disciplines, but we have learned that our differences are our strength.
We bring together our individual skills, knowledge and experience and turn them into one team.
But our partnership is about more than rescue skills. It’s about trust. It’s about friendship. It’s about knowing when to push each other, when to listen, and when the pressure is on, knowing the person beside you has your back.
Competition has challenged us, training has tested us, and the journey has brought us closer together.
We have learned to communicate without hesitation, rely on each other’s strengths and work towards one common goal, giving the casualty the very best chance possible.
Agora, we take that friendship, teamwork and experience beyond Ireland.

Nós somos Ponte de Sor ALFA, represented by Telma Catarino e Nuno Cortinhas, volunteer firefighters from Ponte de Sor, Portugal.
It is a great honor to represent Portugal and, in particular, our hometown of Ponte de Sor, carrying with us the commitment, dedicação, and values that define who we are.
We are also proud to represent everyone who supports us every day, helping us grow, improve, and become better professionals. This journey belongs to them as well, and thanks to their encouragement and support, we have the opportunity to be here.

TEAM BIO:
Extricación FA is a trauma team from the Paraguayan Red Cross, Asunción Branch, composto de 2 members with a strong competitive background. The team made their debut at the 2016 National Championship, claiming the title and earning their spot at the 2016 WRO World Championship. They have competed in every event organized by the Asociación Paraguaya de Rescate and currently hold the title of reigning National Champions, having also represented Paraguay at the 2024 e 2025 Latin American Championships.

We are a new team since this year, hoping being able to perform well dhring the WRC.
(The guy on the left) Oi, my name is Jason Rodrigues Da Silva. Eu sou 26 years old and will celebrate my 27th birthday on November 19. I currently work as a First Aid Instructor, a role that allows me to share my passion for emergency care while teaching life-saving skills to people of all ages. My professional journey began as an Architectural Draftsman before I moved into a role as a Civil Engineering Technician. Mais tarde, I fulfilled a lifelong ambition by becoming a Professional Firefighter. My passion for the fire service started when I was just eight years old and has remained a defining part of my life ever since. In addition to my professional career, I continue to serve as an active member of the Mamer Fire and Rescue Service (CGDIS Luxembourg), where I am proud to contribute to my community. Outside of work, I enjoy firefighting, cars, and traveling. I am looking forward to the WRC and hope to meet both new colleagues and familiar faces throughout the event.
(On the right) Oi, my name is Kevin Moro. Eu sou 33 years old and I am from Luxembourg. I currently volunteer with the CGDIS, where I serve as an Emergency Medical Technician (Emt). After 18 years in this role, I decided to further develop my skills and will begin firefighter training next year. Além disso, desde 2026 I have been a member of the Aeronautical Rescue Sub-Center in Luxembourg, where I coordinate Search and Rescue (SAR) missions in my capacity as an Aviation Expert. My professional career follows a different path, as I work as a pilot for Cargolux. I am looking forward to the WRC and hope to meet familiar faces from the 2014 WRC.

Davie ALS team has been competing together for 5 years and are excited to attend their 3rd World Rescue Challenge. We just competed in Czech Republic and hope to use what we learned there to have a successful performance in Brazil.
Bizkaia Trauma Team – Spain
We are Alex Graña and David Castro, professional firefighters with the Provincial Fire Service of Bizkaia, in the Basque Country, northern Spain.
We have been working together for more than ten years, building a strong professional relationship based on trust, trabalho em equipe, and a shared commitment to emergency response. Desde 2023, we have been competing together as a Trauma Team, taking part in both internal and national competitions, where we have continued to develop our skills and strengthen our ability to work under pressure.
Para nós, trauma competitions are much more than a challenge. They are an opportunity to improve our clinical skills, refine our teamwork and communication, and bring valuable lessons back to our everyday work as firefighters and emergency responders.
We are proud to represent our fire service, Bizkaia, and Spain at the World Rescue Challenge 2026 in Rio de Janeiro. We look forward to challenging ourselves alongside some of the best trauma teams in the world, sharing experiences, learning from other professionals, and building new friendships within the international rescue community.
After more than a decade working side by side, we know the value of trust, preparation, and teamwork when every second counts. We are excited to bring that experience to Rio and give our very best.

Seme Paraguay Trauma Team
Representing SEME PARAGUAY, we are Rodrigo Zárate and Alcides Salinas—both paramedics, colegas, and longtime friends. We have been competing in national rescue and trauma challenges since 2017,after several years of trying to participate in the World Rescue Challenge, we are finally making it a reality this year; it is an extraordinary opportunity to learn and exchange knowledge with top-tier professionals.

SDIS 78 – França
Sonia e Maxime são um membro das duas equipes de trauma do incêndio e resgate de Yvelines (Manutenção dos subúrbios a oeste de Paris).
Sonia, nosso médico, é uma enfermeira profissional no hospital de Reims, (a capital de champanhe)! Ela também trabalha para o Serviço de Incêndio e Resgate para o Departamento de Bombeiros dos Yvelines. Ela ganhou o título de campeão francês 2025 na competição de trauma.
Maxime , nosso técnico, é um bombeiro no departamento de Yvelines também. Também. Este é o primeiro ano de Maxime na equipe de competição de trauma. Mostrando grande potencial, Ele e seu parceiro terminaram o 5º lugar este ano.
