The World Rescue Organisation (WRO)<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

is dedicated to advancing rescue and medical techniques, practices, and procedures to effectively manage road traffic collisions and enhance trauma care in a pre-hospital environment. By disseminating this knowledge globally, we aim to save lives and significantly improve long-term outcomes for victims.<\/p>\n

Drawing upon the expertise of our member organisations and partners, the WRO focuses on building and strengthening rescue and trauma practices, promoting the rescue challenge concept, and developing an ecosystem to share learning knowledge and expertise. These initiatives are designed to support rescue and medical teams operating in post-crash environments, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform efficiently and safely.<\/p>\n

An executive Committee and the WRO Committee govern and manage the WRO, ensuring that our mission and activities align with the highest standards of excellence in rescue operations.<\/p>\n

Our Vision<\/h4>\n

Is to provide a platform for rescue personnel throughout the world to share and advance rescue science and technology and to develop and enhance proficiency in general rescue techniques, vehicle rescue, incident command and pre-hospital care.\u00a0 To promote injury prevention, through education and awareness, within all groups at risk from unintentional injury.<\/p>\n

Aims and Objectives page<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The World Rescue Organisations Aim is to:
\nProvide a platform for rescue and medical personnel around the world to share and advance rescue science and technology, and to work with partners to prevent death and injury, this will be achieved by means of:<\/p>\n

  • The introduction and development of the Rescue Challenge concept at national and international level.<\/li>\n
  • Introduction and maintenance of an industry recognised standard for dealing with Road Collisions on a global basis.<\/li>\n
  • The development of enhanced proficiency in rescue techniques, incident management and medical care.<\/li>\n
  • Introduction of multi-agency systematic and team approach.<\/li>\n
