Built on passion, hard work, and a competitive spirit, the team brings together firefighters ranging from three to 21 years of fire service experience. Through training, competition, and real-world experience, LXT continues to grow and evolve while representing the City of Largo on the international stage. By sharing knowledge gained from years in junkyards and global competitions, such as NAVRA and the WRO, they&#8217;ve been able to refine their skills. The team underwent a significant transformation less than a year ago, welcoming new members. Representing the City of Burlington, Ontario, Canada, this year&#8217;s team is largely composed of members attending their first WRC \u2014 a junior squad eager to test their skills on the world stage. While they may be new to the international competition environment, they bring with them the dedication and drive that defines Burlington Fire Department. These results reflect the professionalism, dedication, and team spirit that define us.<\/div>\n<div>On the international stage, we have taken part in 8 world championships, where we proudly represented Romania, achieving very good results and strengthening our place among the top teams in the world.<\/div>\n<div>We are honored to stand among the best teams globally, in an environment where the exchange of experience and continuous learning are essential. Each participation gives us the opportunity to share knowledge and learn new things from competitors all over the world.<\/div>\n<div>We look confidently toward the future and are determined to perform at the highest level at the competition in Brazil. They are a group of professionals who share friendship, a passion for rescue, and the motivation to train together and become better every day. Through years of competing across Europe, the team has achieved impressive results. These experiences have helped the team grow both technically and professionally.<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The team\u2019s achievements include 13 Portuguese National Rescue Challenge titles, two World Rescue Challenge championships (Lisbon 2015 and Lanzarote 2023), three World Championship runner-up finishes, as well as several other podium and top-four finishes in international competitions. Our response area is home to 1.6 million people and rapidly growing. Throughout our response area we cover everything from the beach and intercostal waterways, residential, commercial, industrial, military complexes, lake Okeechobee, the everglades. Our department features some of the most cutting-edge advances in fire rescue and Ems. We provide Advanced life support, fire suppression, hazmat, dive, special operations teams, our own USAR team, multiple medical air rescue helicopters(Trauma Hawk), airboats, jet skis, drone teams, we were one of the first in the country to offer prehospital whole blood and plasma interventions.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Our ALS teams is comprised of 7 members over two teams. Our teams have been competing for over a decade and quickly became one of the most successful teams in all of Florida on a consistent basis. Our teams have traveled throughout the USA and the world representing both the USA and our department. We draw from countless hours of practicing, clinical experience, real world experience from 911 calls, and mentor experience. Over the years, we have been fortunate to achieve great success, winning the World Championship twice\u2014including last year\u2014and earning a second-place finish. These results make us proud, but they also motivate us to keep learning and improving.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Our team is made up of three dedicated members. Luci and Vali work together since 2009, and shared years of training, competitions, and experiences. This was our first year competing in the national trauma championships, where we learned a great deal, formed friendships and professional relationships, and gained valuable knowledge for our day-to-day work. We\u2019re a young team; we\u2019ve been working together as a pre-hospital team since November 2025, and we know we still have a lot to learn. Participating in the world championships is a dream come true, and being able to compete side by side with the best teams in the world will certainly be an enriching experience that we can\u2019t wait for! This isn&#8217;t our day job, it&#8217;s something we choose to do.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We give our own time to train, respond, learn and develop our skills so that when someone needs us, we&#8217;re ready.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our journey started in two different rescue classes. We came from different operational backgrounds, with different experiences and skill sets, but through training, competition and countless hours working together, something much stronger developed&#8230; a genuine friendship and an unbreakable team bond.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jen is a Search &amp; Rescue member, qualified medic and Canine Search &amp; Rescue Handler. Her experience has developed her ability to work in challenging environments, think under pressure and adapt when situations don&#8217;t go to plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emily comes from Fire,\u00a0Search &amp; Rescue and is also a qualified medic, she brings valuable fire, rescue and medical experience to the team. Emily also has had to adapt to challenging environments and think fast under pressure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We may come from different disciplines, but we have learned that our differences are our strength.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We bring together our individual skills, knowledge and experience and turn them into one team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But our partnership is about more than rescue skills. It&#8217;s about trust. It&#8217;s about friendship. I am 26 years old and will celebrate my 27th birthday on November 19. I currently work as a First Aid Instructor, a role that allows me to share my passion for emergency care while teaching life-saving skills to people of all ages. My professional journey began as an Architectural Draftsman before I moved into a role as a Civil Engineering Technician. Later, I fulfilled a lifelong ambition by becoming a Professional Firefighter. My passion for the fire service started when I was just eight years old and has remained a defining part of my life ever since. In addition to my professional career, I continue to serve as an active member of the Mamer Fire and Rescue Service (CGDIS Luxembourg), where I am proud to contribute to my community. Outside of work, I enjoy firefighting, cars, and traveling. Since 2023, we have been competing together as a Trauma Team, taking part in both internal and national competitions, where we have continued to develop our skills and strengthen our ability to work under pressure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For us, trauma competitions are much more than a challenge. She also works for the fire and rescue service for the Fire Department of the Yvelines. <\/strong><strong>She has earned the title of French champion 2025 in the trauma competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Maxime , our technician, is a firefighter in the Yvelines department as well.\u00a0 As well.\u00a0 This is Maxime\u2019s first year on the trauma competition team. Showing great potential, he and his partner finished 5th place this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>(The team we are sending are representing our full team and will be
